Releases today. Mine is currently awaiting my return from work. Got the Ultimate Team edition, because free packs and why not. Anyone else picking it up? I am on Xbox One if you want some friendlies.

I picked up the Ultimate Edition for PS4 today at lunch. Gameplay feels good and some noticeable improvements over Fifa 14.

If any PS4 owners want to start a Pro Club, say the word.

Ugh... FUT sucks with all bronze players. Especially, when they aren't the sweaty bronze superstars and just regular scrubby bronze players. Can't wait for my 40 packs. Sadly, they don't all come in at once.

Also, the improvements in the engine are really noticeable. There is jersey tugging, better recovering from losing balance, and the game feels much smoother. I tried some of the create a player mode and it those things really shine.

It looks slightly better than Fifa 14 (hair, my biggest complaint in most games, is still bad). You also retain your levels (and settings) when upgrading to the new version.

The UI is better, the notification system is improved, and hopefully the soundtrack is better (it was terrible in 14). Can't comment on how good Messi actually is, as he was pretty bad in FUT on 14.

Yeah, logging in every week for 40 weeks to download each pack...I'm likely going to forget well before those 40 weeks come to an end. But yeah, Fifa 15 just feels more polished than Fifa 14.

Frustrating morning. Was play a FUT game and the EA Servers crapped out. Oh well, went on to my single player career. Was at the 85th minute and then got a PS4 crash window for the game. It's like I was not meant to play a full game today.

They had server maintenance last night and I suppose (if Blizzard is an example of anything), that patch day always brings additional downtimes later on in the day.

Got two Nigerian strikers for super cheap, both with 93 pace; Martins and Musa, I believe. The pace abuse for like 1500 coins! They are decent too.

Been getting into FIFA 14 and have been thinking about FIFA 15 but from what I've been playing in EA Access, I haven't seen a reason to yet.

Once again this morning the EA servers go down.

Was playing NHL 15 and logged into HUT to get my free daily 1250 coins and it said 0 coins and attempted to start a new team. I knew the server went down, funny part about that is people claiming there were people trading collections and buying coins from other people and having their HUT accounts deleted- hilarious.

I think they upgraded the goalies. I am having a hell of a time scoring, even with my pace abuse squad. 4-3-1-2 with both strikers and the cam being Nigerian guys with 93 pace is OP! Sadly, their shot or dribbling isn't amazing.

The goalies do seem a little better, but maybe because I'm trying to get to fancy when scoring. Still haven't figured out how to unlock the one on one vs goalie trophy.

Actually I think goalkeepers in FIFA 15 are weak, they even let the ball into the net from midfield. The more I play FIFA 15, the less I like it and passing isn't important since your ball carrier runs almost 1.25x faster than defenders, FIFA 14 may see more gameplay from me.

Depends on what level you play it seems. When I had silver and gold going up against bronze, I could just run past them, now that I'm more evenly matched, it's not as easy to blow by the defense.

I do find that the CPU does some crazy stuff like dribbling all the way back to their goal making huge figure eights as you chase them. They also have stellar ball control at time and can just dribble around many tackling defenders. Also so a couple instances where my team thought the ball went out of bounds and they just stood around. Still more enjoyable than Madden right now.

Still been putting in work with my FUT team. And, haven't packed a single decent player yet.

The biggest improvement is the clock, IMO. It no longer stops on throw ins, goal kicks, etc. It continues (albeit at real speed, not the accelerated speed of the game) to run during those scenes.

It feels better than Fifa 14 so far, although, I still hate never getting fouls and being fired in single player for saying voicing said opinion to my TV.

How is the pace of the game? I loved Fifa 13, but Fifa 14 felt slow and not as fun. The gameplay videos I have seen, seem to show the pace is more akin to Fifa 13 but I am looking for confirmation.

First time not picking this game up on launch Day but I managed to pick it up with a ps4. If anyone wants some friendlies hit me up on psn, kicker2068. I haven't got my ultimate team up yet (will have to work the market) To get a nice German league team going.

I didn't have a problem with the pace in 14, but 15 does feel a bit faster and smoother.

Finally found out what I was doing wrong to not score 1 on 1 with just the goalie. Apparently, you can no longer just drill it from inside the box, you have to finesse or flair shot it. =( So many missed goals trying to just drill it past him.

Oh well! Another amazing addition I found out is in career mode. You can actually modify the formations, as in you can move positions to where you want want them. I can run a staggered 4 - 2 - 1 - 2 now!

Thanks for the response. Seems more and more that it is getting a much better response than Fifa 14 did. Looking forward to playing with brother and friends.

I play a ton of Fifa 14. I am definitely going to get Fifa 15 cause I played it in Wallmart, and it sold me at the menus. They are WAY smoother. It makes a huge difference in career mode. I am not a big UT guy, cause I don't really want to play for the ability to use certain players. And you typically get way more crap than good stuff.

I also enjoyed the game play. There are still a few things that annoy me, like the AI dribbling around like Ronaldo for 5 minutes. However, like some have said, the game feels more fluid than 14.

Now I just need to find a deal on an XBOX One.

The AI is bad at low levels, that is for sure. I keep reading complaints about how the defenders just stand there and let you run past them and that you can dribble with a crappy player like Messi. I just laugh, because I know they are playing on Beginner. Anything past professional and I have trouble actually getting into the box without some pace abuse or making good decisions.

The game certainly does feel more fluid and faster than Fifa 14 though.

For me FIFA's speed was just about right, FIFA 15 is too fast, and PES 15 seems to be close to FIFA 14's speed and I have some interest in that game after playing several matches in the PES 15 demo except I hope they fix goalkeeper animations (sometimes they look funny).

I pretty much quit FIFA 15 full stop.

I'm really impressed with the game play. I'm on PS4 and it seems to run a lot smoother than my friends on the XBox One. I also like the loan system on Ultimate Team, I was hoping for a feature like this!

Update from my previous post. I got an xbox one and fifa 15. Game is far and away better than fifa 14. Not just the graphics, but the whole feel of the game, the menus, etc. If you guys don't like the speed of play, you can change that. Take a look at this article :

http://news.futhead.com/posts/fifa-15/29766-fifa-15-gameplay-sliders-guide

I followed it, and it makes for a more realistic game.

There are still a few little things, like the AI dribbling too much and crosses are still a tad too easy to score on. However, it is far less infuriating.

Anybody know a good place to get discount xbox live subscription?

There are discounts on XBL every so often where you can get a year for like $35. Not sure about any right now, but I'm sure there are some out there.
