Fic VA-503+ and WinME PCI to ISA Bridge problem.

Hey,
I've just built a computer with:

Fic VA-503+
K6-3 400
PC100 128mb
D-Link 528 NIC
Best Data ISA Modem
Generic Soundcard
WinME installed.

In the device manager, the "VIA Tech 82C586B (PIPC) PCI to Isa Bridge" has a yellow exclamation point on it. When I click on properties, it says: "Windows could not load the driver for this device because the computer is reporting two ISAPNP.VxD bus types (Code 2).

Contact your computer manufacturer to get an updated BIOS for your computer."

I've checked the BIOS and it is the latest version (JE439). I've installed the Via 3-in-1 drivers as well.

What else can I try?

Thanks,
Null

I would remove it in safemode and let it redetect correctly. Or if you want the whole 9 yards, Go to regedit /local machine- delete the Enum key , boot back into windows and run add new hardware wizard. Just be sure to have the ME cabs on your hdd, to copy from.

I've also tried that. I'm just going to start over and use Win98se. When I tried the drivers that were provided by Fic, it said the OS was not supported.

Thanks!
