FIC au13 setup question

When setting up this mb is there supposed to be a 4 pin, square power plug
in addition to the 20 pin?? If so, is this plug standard on the newer power
supplies. The manual ( page 2-6), such as it is, lists this procedure. Is there
an adaptor for this plug--reg. 4-pin to square 4-pin? thanks

I did not know this was standard in nforce 2 motherboards (I never owned one) but it took the standard amd power and also the pentium/intel power to the motherboard for my old nforce 1.

Go figure.

Some powersupplies that are p4 have them; some don't and an intel person could tell you if this is an early or late p4 plug which I sure can't - I was just glad my enermax had one handy!

You need PSU with 12V ATX connector, thats the square one you are talking about.
Some Nforce mobos like Abit NF7 will work without it but not AU13. On AU13 fans will spin but CPU wont have any power.

All PSUs compatible with Pentium 4 have 12V ATX.
