FIC AN11 Cant Use IDE 3 & 4

I bought a FIC AN11 motherboard. It comes with 4 IDE Channels. I am unable to use channels 3 and 4 for almost all my IDE-based peripherals. Anytime I hook a peripheral to 3 or 4, the computer hangs at startup, except for a 100MB IDE Internal Zip, which works just fine in 3 or 4. I am using Windows 98SE. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I'm not sure about that particular board but most boards with
RAID have a jumper or BIOS setting of some sort which needs
to be set in order to use them in a non-RAID configuration.
