I think I've seen these referenced here before and I'm pretty sure that somebody said that they were pretty crappy.

I know that I've seen some small fiber optic lamps at the Spencer's B&M that are kinda lame. Very few fibers and very droopy.

This is so lame...sheesh. talk about kidddy toys. If this is threadcrap, just tell me and i'll edit. otherwise most others would agree with me
 
I ordered the second one in the thread. It looks good and hopefully safe for my soon to be 4 year old.
