Fiber Optic Lamp 6.96

Awesome! Anyone know the shipping on this?

/edit who cares, if it is B&M too, I will just pick one up. Once again, a jewel JokerSmoker.

Ordered 3.. Total around $10, roughly half of that shipping =)

And I already get complaints about having too many things with flashing lights in my room...

These guys have a lot of.. umm.. interesting stuff, some extremely cheap. Seems they're having a sale.. Looking through the "Under 4.99" category atm.

That place is impulse buyer hell... Well, at least one of the outer circles of it. As bad as it may be it doesn't even begin to compare with this forum...
Just looking through it I ended up with around 6 cheapies in my shopping cart (I'm a sucker for all those butterfly/woodsy candle holders and fountains... I wasn't looking at that other stuff, honest!)

that is not fiber optic lamps
no material is made of fiber optics.

that is just plastic strings cut up in same length and stick them with glued in one end to create flower effect then added color bulb in the bottom to make the light effect at the other end of the plastic stick.

i don't mean to crap, but that thing is crap. the technology is used 4-5 years ago for decorations in events (disney, local parades). it's so cheap, it shouldn't cost more than 3 - 4 bucks.
moreover, claiming that it's fiber optic that's just plain lame way to do business.

buyer beware!

i don't know about this specific model, buy fiber optic lamps are cool. i had some 10+ years back (not sure what happened to them), and i loved them

These are definitely not like the ones from 10 years ago. I had one of those too and they were made of thin threads of fiberglass. Pretty cool looking but they looked like crap when you started breaking them off.

These are made of that thick plastic stuff. The don't look nearly as good.

dpham00, I agree. I remember fiber optic lamps 10-15 years ago having far more fibers than the lamps you see in stores today. They were cool as hell. These days the lamps look anemic. Maybe somewhere you can still get the "old style" lamps.
