wow. I bet you looked completely insane sitting there diligently working as blood poured out of your mouth, ran down your face, and dripped onto your keyboard. lol.

probably...but I didn't have many guests. 🙂

Another tip is nothing that has seeds (like strawberries, blackberries) or small bits (like broccoli) they can get in to the empty sockets and rot and cause infections.
One more thing, Ensure will be her friend.

I had mine taken out last year and was back at work the next day, but had to be on a liquid diet for 2 weeks. 🙁

Scrambled eggs with cheese mixed in, chopped up pretty finely. When everything you can eat is sweet, having something more savoury is a nice break.

My fiancee recently had all 4 pulled. She had chicken noodle soup, pudding, jello, and ice cream right after the surgery. The next day she was eating whole foods.

isn't sucking bad after the surgery? You're supposed to avoid straws, cigs, related activity b/c it can pull the blood clots out of the wounds. Wouldn't sucking on candy or something related be the same type of action?

I wasn't even able to close my mouth properly for a week due to swelling. For the first week, only liquids.

Oatmeal is a bad suggestion. It will get stuck in various areas mouth that she'll have to dig out or rinse out. Rinsing, which can cause some suction might end up causing dry socket which will only worsen it.

I went from tomato soup to rice soup and ice cream and so on.

Make sure she follows the doc's advice meticulously. She'll feel great in the first few hours, but if she eats solid food in the first day she WILL regret it. I know lots of people who ate ice almost immediately and got dry sockets -- and were in agonizing pain for weeks. I followed their advice to the letter and had to take a TOTAL of one dose of advil for pain during my entire healing process.

I got mine ripped out today. Man, what an experience. I could hear my jaw bones creaking and flexing trying to hold the tooth back in. It took a lot of work for the doc to pull both of my teeth out.

Whoa!

That's some kinky stuff right there, but if that procedure completes the gender reassignment process then go for it.

Just kidding.

FYI: A "fiance" is a man.

Give her lots of salty corn chips and corn nuts.

She'll thank you later. 😀

I think the original list you poste was pretty good.

My wife had her wisdom teefs cut out about 32 years ago and more or less lived on mashed potatos and gravy for several days.

Remember...NO STRAWS...
