I thought that Sony had square sewn up pretty tightly into making playstation exclusive titles...

Square just wants to make money at this point I think. Making games for everyone kinda sucks though, for Square fans. That means in order to play them all they have to have them all. This started with Final Fantasy Tactics 2 being on the freaking gameboy. My favorite FF game, and they put it on a POS handheld that I'll never buy...

Bah, FFXI is old now... by xmas very few new players will be interested. Now, if they get Vanguard on the Xbox360, then we have somethign to celebrate.

Nope. Square is now working with the Xbox360 camp too. They showed off FFXI and a Final Fantasy tech demo at the E3 press conference for the Xbox360. MS also has some former Square developers working on a RPG called Lost Odyssey.
