FF4 save state editor OR show me how to hex edit

Well fellas,

It's been a while since I played the game on my snes

(...hmm...lemme think...I got it when I was in the 4th grade or so...ff6 came out 94 right? so i think 4th is about right for ff4)

so I snagged the rom and started playing.

I really REALLY don't want to go through hours of just leveling up though -- bleh.

So, I downloaded a save state editor. Sadly, it crashes on me when i try to edit the zsnes save state (I applied j2es 10 year patch so i don't have to go through it in japanese again).

So, does anyone know of a save state editor for ff4 hard type? Or can someone show me how to hex edit it?

EDIT: The editor I was using was simply called "Final Fantasy IV.exe" and had an icon of Rosa...don't know where I got it...

That and some 30+ snes games are at home -- I was a big video game freak in elementary and jr. high school.

I bought a genesis instead a snes. I sold the Genesis, and then bought a game gear....


Anywho, now i wish i had bought a snes, so i just go on the internet, and illigally download all the games i want to!

You know what the great thing is..??

Eh, all the roms I have are games that I really liked and actually own.

I'm not a fan of people downloading ROMs of games they don't own...

I also had a genesis...I think I only had about 5 games for that system.

Sonic 1, 2, 3
Phantasy Star IV
Some sort of donald duck game

I can't think of anything else...
