FF on mac and pdf, ppt, etc issues.

I use FF and am a windows guy. At work im forced to use a mac. When i click on pdf, ppt, etc links the damn file always gets downloaded to my desktop. Is there a way to stop this behavior? I have changed the "download" folder, but that only applies when i actually download something not when i view a pdf.

Nope. As i said in my OP, that only handles actual downloads. The type where you are prompted (open with, save...).

Yea, i will check though. The mac and windows versions are quite different. Will extensions work on mac and windows the same? Thanks for the link.

I think extensions work regardless. My cousin has a mac and he uses adblock, open in IE fine...
