Does anyone have any experience with this recent release on PSN..specifically Final Fantasy IV? I have the original PS1 release but I can't really play it on my PS3 because the PS1 emulator on the PS3 screws the graphics up. Does anyone know if the new PSN release has been fixed in this regard? Thanks in advance.

I never noticed this(I have the PS1 Chronicles and Anthology for that matter on disk)- as long as you don't turn on graphics enahancements(which look like crap on sprite based games) you shouldn't have any oddities.

I've tried it with and without the graphics enhancements. The problem shows up from the start. For example, at the beginning when you're on the airship i get flickering and during the battles i get black boxes. Very strange. Which PS3 version do you have? I have the 40GB fatty. While I'm sure the emulator version is the same (they haven't updated it in ages), I'm curious if it is a specific hardware issue.
