1) I'm going to need a turtleneck-like shirt to protect my neck from the sequins on the collar.

2) It'll be a good idea to have some kind of knee length, white tights. It sunlight, it will be very apparent what type of undergarments I am wearing.

3) While removing enough of the costume to urinate in a portajon during the marathon is relatively easy, if I have to do a number 2, that will require me to completely strip out of the costume. In a portajon. Will not happen.

More observations after the test run.

For those that do not know, I will be running the Rock and Roll Las Vegas Marathon as Elvis. I've got a slick running costume, white jumpsuit with blue sequined arm and leg inserts and a gold sequined collar. For the prerace events, I'll be getting a wig and some Elvis sunglasses too, but won't run the marathon in the wig.

Edit - No pictures will be provided. Don't ask.

1. Don't forget the nipple band-aids
2. Go Commando
3. Sew in a #2 flap (sorta like the old-fashioned long johns).

Sounds like a lot of fun good luck. Though I have no desire to run a full marathon I have done a few relays and the atmosphere/crowd can really help to keep you going.

1. Not needed, no discomfort at all in th 15mi test run.

2. Hell no.

3. Are you joking with your #2 suggestion? I am not going to commando in a skin tight, white jumpsuit and take a dump during the race.
