Just wondering, is there such modem that does DSL and Router?
Also is there a site that list all the DSL modem that use G.992.1 and G.992.2 standard? Looking to buy one.
Thanks.

I don't know about G.992.x standards, but the SMC Barricade apparently has a serial port for a "backup" dial up/isdn modem, in addition to a 10based2 jack for your DSL connection.

Not sure about full fledged routers, but my GVC modem has NAT capability and a few other things.

The Westell modem that is used quite a bit by Verizon can be upgraded via software to the same functionality as most home dsl/cable routers.

The ISP that I work for uses D-Link DSL 300 modems. D-Link also has the model DSL-500 which has a router built in. I had evaluated the modem/Router combo a few months back and it seemed to work good. We did not go with the modem mainly because I didnt like the interface for the router. If you have used a D-Link router before you may like it. The DSL-500 sells for $195.0 direct from D-Link. You do need to be a reseller to purchase this or the DSL-300 from D-Link

You would need to have a hub or switch. With some this is more convienent, mostly with buisness who have more than 4 machines

GVC BB0020 (External DSL Modem)

"so there is no all in one DSL modem right? DSL + Router + Switch or Hub???"

Not that I know of. Just get a DSL modem from your provider (should be included) and buy a router firewall (switch), like the Linksys or Netgear.
