so i am on my third day using my iphone and i love it. i have pretty much gone and downloaded any extra app i have needed like videora for video and i changed a few settings to allow me to make ringtones with any mp3 i have. all that went great and the phone for the most part did everything right. except i have a few questions and complaints. i was wondering what other people have done to get around it.

first, why is the headphone jack recessed sooo low into the phone? im tempted to cut the the stock headphones wire and make my own adapter so i can plug anything into it. anyone found anything better than that?

*edit: this seems to do the trick.

second, no bluetooth music streaming? for people with bluetooth in the car this would have been ideal.

third, what kind of cover/shield are you using? i am very close to ordering a full body invisishield and was wondering what everyone else liked?

fourth, any other kind of accessory you would recommend?

thanks, in advance.

They recessed the jack to prevent damage, I have read. It's annoying. I trimmed back a bit of plastic from all my headphone cables around the input to enable them to fit without an adapter. But I broke one set of headphones doing this, so I regret not just buying an adapter.

No, no bluetooth stereo streaming - it's bizarre, I know. A2DP isn't supported, nor is synchronizing contacts over bluetooth. You can apparently stream mono music streams using the bluetooth connection to a hands-free device. I've never tried this though.

I'm using an Agent18 case: http://store.apple.com/1-800-M..._iphone&nplm=TP409LL/A
And then Crystalfilm for the screen:

It works well. I'm happy. Good protection for the phone, great access to everything on the phone, and then the screen protector against scratches. I'm pleased with it.
