ew. good god how scary/sad/disgusting/frustrating.

Unless you are under medications, as parents you can hear a baby WIMPER in the middle of the night...

I could never sleep through it, even though I tried. :) As soon as my kids started to wimper and whine I could hear it...

Clearly, this kid will be warmly accepted on the playground and won't grow up with simmering homicidal tendencies of any kind.

it did what a ferret does. It's a wild animal. You kooks that think they should be house pets get what you deserve.

Pets are evil. A Ferret is a wild animal.

What do you know? Two more conservatives who don't know shit about shit.:rolleyes:

Of course, that doesn't stop them from spouting off complete and utter bullshit with a total disregard for facts. It isn't ignorance that is so depressing -- it's the utter chutzpah of purporting to know something which is easily and demonstrably false.

I thought the worst part was how the ferret died, blunt force trauma caused by being hurled against a counter.

They should have just eaten seven of the ferret's toes.

your post seems to assert that they arent going after the parents for negligence, which they are....

No it doesn't - I just can't believe that the authorities needed to mention what is pretty much a bylaw infraction in regards to a serious case.

That's pretty fucked up and on top of that some of the responses here are worse. You people are sick.

Wow... just wow that's disturbing. Not only must the child have been in agonizing pain, but now he/she will have to live with the consequences for the rest of their life. As much as I would love to blame the parents on this on it's just not something you would expect. Once you have a pet for so long you think you "know" it. Just goes to show an animals behavior can be completely erratic. No matter how they've behaved in the past, you just don't know how they're going to behave in the future.

Well, that's what makes them animals. When instinct takes over they are not going to stop and reason. I thought my parents' cat really loved me. One day he escaped outside a bit, just a few feet from the door, and for some reason whenever he ends up outside he gets really weird and wild. When I went to bring him back he viscously bit me. That bastard.

Never gonna go pet lions or big dogs and whatnot. Doesn't matter how "tame" they are, doesn't matter how much they "love" everyone. When they snap and go back to behaving like wild animals (as they do), you are fucked. If the cat goes wild on me I can just kick its ass.

No kidding... We used to let my cat outside on a leash in the summer. One day he took off into the woods after another cat (breaking the leash). When I went to retrieve him he attacked me viciously. I have many scars on my hands as a result...
