For $55K I'd rather have a Z06 or a used Viper.

But it looks like they did a pretty good job on it.

Too bad it's still a kit car.

The appearance would fool most people on the street, but what does the exhaust note sound like? The MR2's 1.8L engine does not exactly sound like the Ferrari's 400-hp V8.

Well, most ricers like that fart pipe noise anyway, so slap a economy sized can of Folgers on the back and you're set

How many people have seen a Modena, much less heard one?

I've seen but one, headed the opposite direction on a split highway - In rush hour traffic.

I've heard videos, but most people wouldn't even have heard that.

Some guy in town here has an older Testarossa kit on an older MR2. Must've been embarrasing getting spanked by a '91 Tempo.

I've seen a couple and none of them were at WOT... just that deep rumble when they pass by at low rpms... so yah i guess people would never know the difference...

I saw a Ferrari Testerossa a while back and heard the engine. The engine sounded bad, like it had problems. Maybe when people see and hear that thing drive buy, they'll just think the engine has something wrong with it. ;)

Cobra kit cars are acceptable if they did it right (ie huge ass V8 powering it).

With the cost of the real Shelby's, you'd be crazy not to build a replica if you wanted to thrash it.

If they didn't do anything to the MR2's engine, I'd be really embarrassed to drive it. Everyone would try to race me, and I'd get spanked! HAHAHAHA

A yellow one was driving around my town yesterday. I nearly wrecked my car from staring at it. Totally hypnotizing.

I followed a Viper in traffic a few times, had the same impact on me.

I think that thing looks pretty sweet. If it had motor in it pushin about 300 hp it would make for a damn fun car. Not 55K kinda fun though, I would go vette as well. I dunno who would drop 55K to be a poser.

What a waste! For 55k you could own a real Ferrari. There are plenty of used, older models that will get you into the Ferrari market for that money. Why be a poser when you could drive the real thing?!

I seriously doubt it's accurate. It's probably just for looks. There's no way a full scale body of a 360M could fit on a the microscopic chassis of an MR2 spider. It'd look too funny.
