I asked my Italian grandmother that question the last time I saw her. That and how Stradale is pronounced. She said that Italian words are pretty much pronounced the way they look and she said "Moe-deh-na" (about the best job I can do to spell that phoenetically; if it's not already apparent, the accent is on the second syllable) and "Stra-dah-lee" (I was pretty sure on that one before I even asked her).

As for the Monza... I'm a big fan of the Modena and I like the Monza a lot. Good update to it.

The front end looks bleh. I hate the inlets, and the headlights look ripped straight from the C6 Vette. Other than that looks like a Modena.

I'm pretty sure this is an artist's rendering, not a photo. It's captioned "Photo Illustration by . . . ", and it appears to be a tiny corner of a magazine page. I can't imagine the real debut wouldn't attract a larger photo. I bet the actual car has a less angular "mouth" and less dramatic ducts ahead of the front wheels and behind the C-pillars.

The rear-end just looks so mechanized instead of the organic look of the 360 Modena:thumbsdown:

The Enzo genes are SPREADING!!! :|

Agreed. Definitely looks bitten directly off the Enzo. :(

Ferraris have started looking unimpressive starting with the enzo - the back end looks like crap IMO.
I know most disagree with me - but as NFS4 says - its my opinion.

edit: not dissing ferraris. the f40, f50, 355 spider and the 360 modena are beautiful cars.

Well, I'm not sure what I think of it. The pics early in that thread I don't like. I think it matches the angled lines from the Enzo with the flowing lines of the Modena and, IMO, they don't mix. The pics later on, at least of the rear kinda make me rethin this. I don't like the front end in any of the pics though.

Maybe because of the fact that I'm really into car design (actual shape, not engineering), but I find it hard to look at very many cars anymore without a love/hate feeling about every single one. If the Enzo had just a few small changes it'd be, I think, much better looking. I always find small details that I feel would make a car so much better if it was just changed slightly.

Here's a pic of what I think an evolution of the Modena should look like (sorry for the blemishes and poor quality):
