From the various articles I've read it appears that the woman who was driving the car stopped and is cooperating with police. She claims she didn't see the protester standing in the road until it was too late. And the sounds of at least two separate shooters, which can clearly be heard on the video, were apparently protesters shooting at her car after she stopped. So much for a peaceful protest.

Most ironic part was the woman screaming "the cops are just sitting over there not doing shit!" when it was protesters doing the shooting at an innocent woman after an accident they caused.

I was in Ferguson last September (visiting a cemetery for photographic purposes). Quite a few houses had signs in the yard reading "We have to stop killing each other." Naturally, I found this elementary-school approach to violence amusing. Way to admonish those unruly kids, Mr. Garrison. It's like real life South Park.

Black people are hard to see at night. I almost hit a guy coming home from work one day... He was a black guy in mostly black clothing, walking across the black street at night in a spot with limited streetlights.

Damn that was pretty brutal. But let's be real it's hard to see anyone at night from a distance, let a lone a black person wearing dark clothing. It wasn't like there was a backup of traffic due to the protestors already slowing down traffic, it was a clear freeway.

If someone jumped out onto I95 at night around here I'd expect them to be nailed as well, even if it was a white person wearing neon colored clothing. Just not enough time to react even if you did see them.
