Female roommate

Roommate = Female

It's fine. The big thing was whether or not the cats would get along. But we were friends for years beforehand, so it was kind of "safe."

I'm out of the house 14 hours a day, 7 days a week, so most of the friction is me forgetting to empty the litter boxes. (She has a back injury that makes certain kinds of housework harder.)

I cook, too. She's hopeless in the kitchen.
 
Don't do it. They won't even consider boning you and you will be expected to be Mr fix it around the house when anything breaks or they clog the drain with hair and pubes. Unless you're guaranteed ass, it ain't worth it.

It only worked in this case because Jack Tripper really WAS gay...he only pretended to be straight because mainstream television wasn't ready for a gay character...
 
I get what you guys are saying and don't disagree there is risk. but i'm along in a city, my only friends are the ex's. don't want to commute 2 hrs to work everyday moving back home. and not going to give up my job because there is a real chance that it could lead to something better. I'm checking the place out sunday and if it goes well i'll suggest we go grab a bite to eat and then prolly go for it on a month to month basis. tbh i'm not looking at it for tale. and tbh I like doing alot of stuff around the house, I'm handy and kinda like it wasn't looking forward to having to live alone in an apartment wanted something to keep me busy. and yeah I could easily afford an apartment, but if I score the promotion i'm gunning for I would need to move and dealing with a long term lease makes that a pain. + I could bank alot of savings quickly this way. and yeah I see possiblity for crazyness and excitement, but right now that sounds better than apartment alone bymyself or my past 2 years with the ex.
 
lol yeah. I dunno maybe its just my mindset resonably fresh from my first real breakup of someone I really cared for. I don't want to be alone in that city. did that when I moved out of state for college and worked all the time most miserable time of my life. I'm a reasonable eye for character, so i'll make sure I don't just rush into it.
 
Does the basement have its own kitchen? Floorplan etc?


In my experience... and this is both live in girlfriends, girls that are friends, and one female roommate.... girls tend to be far dirtier than guys, and it's impossible to turn a dirty person into a clean person

I would not want to share a bathroom..

Also speaking from experience.. don't bang the roommates but friends are fair game..
 
only thing I would need to share is the kitchen which i'm fine with. its a typical house with a finished basement. large family room. bedroom and a nice bathroom.
 
Meh, IMO living w/ females isn't all that much different than males unless you really want in the girls' pants. Some girls are messy, others are clean... just like guys. Some are raging bitches, some are very nice... just like guys. The only issues you'd have is if you wanted her, as you'll get pissed when she brings home a guy.
 
Every time I've lived with a girl its ended up bad.

But, not to say its impossible, its just difficult. Men and women communicate very differently which magnifies every little thing wrong with the house. And you need to not get attached to any of them, at all.
 
I've had female roommates before, and honestly I don't know what you guys are bitching about, it's not a problem at all.

I shared an apartment with 5 female roommates once (international student housing), and it worked just fine. Three of them became good friends of mine, and I didn't have a problem with the other two, we just didn't talk as much.

You need to be able to have female friends though, not just look at them as potential hook-ups.
 
dude, we are you entering more fail. If you had more experience under your belt, it could be a good then esp if you knew out to work out friends with benefits.

Being you are going to want to date it's going to be really mixed bag with any roomies, yet alone two females.
 
In my experience (and all people are different) women are cleaner but generate more drama. Given a choice between sharing a house with a girl or a guy who I knew wasn't a slob I'd pick the latter every time.

Supposedly gay men make the best roommates. They're cleaner than most straight guys, less prickly than women, and they always seem to have tons of good looking female friends who you then get a chance to meet. Plus you don't need to worry about him trying to bang your girlfriend or sister.
 
almost everyone I have EVER talked to about female roomies including other females say chicks are by far the bigger slobs.
