Two full roundhouse punches to the head from that big bastid could have killed her. Oh she tried to slap him.... she never even made contact. Big difference.

She needed to apply common sense at some point, she was banking on him being so much bigger than her that he wouldn't hit her but he had just thrown her down a flight of stairs so kinda dumb on her part.

No, I am not. Just because you Can beat on a woman doesn't mean that you Should. You and those that think this is OK are the root of what is wrong with the youths of today.

She was mean to me so I can beat on her.

No, people like YOU, who perpetuate double standards, are what's wrong with society today.

No he threw her down the stairs FIRST before the video... Read.

I DID read and I know that it took place before the video.

We walked in, in the middle of her quitting her job mid shift. She was yelling at a different manager than the one who hit her and was throwing some bags of chips on the ground, threatening to turn up in this bitch, etc. Really nothing I haven’t seen before or wouldn’t expect from someone who has to work at a fucking Panera all day.

Then out of nowhere white shirt manager approaches her and immediately gets physical with her, keep in mind she’s about 5’2 at most and he was bigger than me... He legit threw her down a flight of stairs and out the front door for really no reason, she runs around to the other entrance to retaliate and that’s where the video starts. You might wanna say she hit him first, but really he had FULL CONTROL over her the entire time, was throwing her around, I think she gets one slap in that was louder than it was painful, then he half punches her once, she spins, and then he REALLY FUCKING PUNCHES her. You can even hear me and my friend yell DON’T HIT HER just before it... I checked on her for a while after the cops left, she seemed ok, she kept saying he really got her in the ear mostly which I know stings like a bitch. She was bleeding a little, and had cuts on her hands but she seemed ok after the adrenaline wore off.

He "got physical" before he threw her down the stairs and the witness clearly says "you might want to say she hit him first." The scumbag witness is clearly sympathetic and thinks her prior behavior was excused considering that she "has to work at a fucking Panera." She returned for more so, obviously, the retaliation wasn't hard enough to deter her from coming back. let that sink it: It wasn't enough. More was required. More was dealt.

I guess you have a valid point if you were an idiot.

A Slap is not equal to attempted murder. Apples and oranges, no comparison.

It's a good example how an attempted crime is still considered a crime. I could have said anything in place of murder (rape, arson, vandalism, theft, anything) and the comparison holds true.

But I guess it's easier for a simple mind to just to call someone an idiot than rub two brain cells together.

I guess all of you abusers have strong opinions. I disagree. I am not saying she is justified in her actions. She most certainly is in the wrong, but the manager should have just called the police instead of beating her down.

I'm sure when this happens to your wife / girl friend etc you will feel the same.

The outrage would be off the charts - how dare she bring shame to our family by causing a ruckus at Panera and becoming an Internet anti-hero.

LOLs at the men here who have a common theme, boners when women get hit. The only fights they have ever won... by a hair. Misogynist virgins and their transparent agenda... OP pft...

And from the way you're talking, if you had a grandfather, a father, an uncle, a brother, a nephew, a son, you wouldn't care if they got into a fight because they are male. There's equality for ya.

We're just treating women as we treat men. Equality. You're the one assuming that they have no agency and are physically inferior, misogynist.

At least you're willing to admit she was in the wrong. So he shouldn't have defended himself because his manliness means he's in control of the situation and her frail womenliess (sp?) means she's incapable of harming him.

Of course, that puts you clearly in the cis-gender privileged shitlord camp. How does it feel to openly oppress women's rights so far after their liberation?

Bold move, Cotton.

There is nothing wrong with a man fighting for a right and just cause. A man beating on a woman because she slapped you is silly and uncalled for.

Oppress women's rights, after their liberation? Funny that is. That is way too stupid to even suggest. PC Lunacy.

Everything he said is 100% correct. You are trying to force your dominance on every female on the planet by calling them weak and helpless.

I Also find your insistence that the man in the video is an attempted murderer who abuses women because he is bigger than them to be highly unsavoury and quite frankly borderline racist.

He man woman haters club meeting of scorned virgins in progress... join the circle...

Just to be clear, you're saying men shouldn't hit women? Is it because you think women are weaker than men? Oh, maybe you're saying that women are emotionally more unstable than men, and therefore we should be more accepting of when they get physically violent? You really are a horrible misogynist.

So do we want equal rights or not? I'm confused. What if the guy was 4'-5"? Then what, it's OK then for him to fight back?

I don't care what the size differences are, equal rights are equal. If a woman attacks a man, the man has the right to defend himself, whether it's a punch or a kick, it's fine. Obviously this is in regards to DEFENDING, not beating someone that is no longer a threat.

For everyone saying well he's bigger and I would never do that, great, good for you. However we can't make laws for every plausible case of the size differences of two people. Instead it should be looked at as who attacked whom? End of story.

I agree with this. Obviously they guy didn't handle it 100% perfectly, as he got fired.

I too wouldn't have punched that women, but not because she is a women. But because you never know. Same employee could come back a third time with a gun and then you are screwed.

Better to let the cops deal with it.
