Yeah...what's up with that? What happens if I only make 9 shredding passes in a day? Or 21? What the hell is a shredding pass anyway?

That is a good price for a crosscut shredder...it says mesh basket though...wouldn't that be hard to empty? I would think all the little pieces would get caught in the mesh...have to line it with a trash bag I guess.

Already picked mine up. What I already shredded didn't get caught in the mesh. The holes are even smaller than those in a microwave oven window.

It's probably an average per day use before it fails.

The mesh is about 1mm large, so it doesn't get stuck since the confetti is bigger than that. I just emptied it and only a piece was stuck on the shredder holder on the top of the basket.
