I dunno if it matters but i'm one of the very few people who actually are going in and out of Pakistan from week to week and stating what everyone knows about the targeting and the drones (has been known for weeks, was posted about here the last time it was used) isn't really a slip up.

It's like saying that the US has troops in Iraq (omg, shouldn't say that, now they know we do).

None of it is classified, the usage of drones was posted here several months ago, no mistake has been made.

Show us where it was revealed that we had drones based inside Pakistan several months ago.

Didn't you recently state that you welcome the drone strikes against AQ and Taliban?! oh, wait...that's right. You keep changing your mind depending on which way the wind is blowing down your street, or the latest sermon from your Imam. I'm not sure you've ever stuck to a conviction for more than a week or two...

1. Stop making false assumptions. I don't listen to any Imam.

2. I only support the drone attacks because the stupid government is too weak to do anything. If they were Pakistani drones it would have been "acceptable." American drones operation from Pakistan even if they do good are unacceptable. Zardari should be hanged for high treason. He's trying to make money from US aid while killing his own people.

Hey, if it helps, we can always slap a Pakistani flag on the side of the Predators and write "courtesy of Asif Ali ZARDARI" on the side of each Hellfire, if it'll shut you up about it.

Perhaps we could do it as a laser show since we still need laser for ground targeting?

However, Pakistan HAS been doing raids against Taliban strongholds lately, if they keep that up it would be great.

Last one was a targeted area that was shared and the ISI did a good job with it.

The last target bombing was known to be a drone mission guided with lasers from the ground, it was posted on this forum and i was one of those who posted in that thread, now if there was a working search function i'd find the thread for you but there isn't so you'll have to take my word for it or not, i really don't give a fuck, i'm just telling you how it is.

You are reaching here. "Lasers from the ground" could mean Special forces who crossed the border, or an ISI agent inside Pakistan. It does not mean the Predator took off and returned to beloved patriot soil.

According to a major newspaper and everyone else, this is a slip. Ill go with them over you ;)

She is a DINO, basically a liberal Republican. Check her voting record. She has moved steadily to the right since elected. She is way to the right of most Democrats.

Jesus I really cant imagine what your ideology is if you think gun-grabbing Feinstein is any sort of Republican. Have you met "redunderurbed" yet?

It's probably not "classified" per se, but is certainly something a prominent government official should not be talking about. Such things then have to get "noticed" and in this case Pakistan is still sensitive to our missions inside their country.

Yes, they tacitly support it, but elements of their population do not, so best kept quiet.

I personally don't mind what the Senator said.

I would like to see Pakistan inflamed and Obama hold to his word and attack that shithole. They've supported Islamic nutjobs long enough. Their security services are fully in bed with terrorists and the Taliban.

I know India would support us.

With friends like you...

Do you happen to have a security clearance? Just curious...

If it is top secret you don't mention it in the freaking cafeteria where there are hundreds of contractors roaming around.

You're joking I presume.

She votes with here Democrat comrades 97% or the time. I guess the 3% makes her a DINO?

True, but, as a contractor, you're also expected to keep such slips to yourself. If you have a clearance, then what you just did -- and what they said -- would be considered small OPSEC violations... if not, then it was simply ignorant.

Then again, there are plenty of legitimate reasons for members of our armed forces to be in Pakistan in an overt capacity; so no harm, no foul.

Like that bitch Feinstein, a lot of people seriously need to learn to shut their fucking mouths...

Yes, exactly. And, besides, this is probably much more nuanced than people here know. We know little about our government's involvement with the current Pakistani regime. I'd suggest all the Intel Experts here get back to their knitting. Pearl One, Knit Two....

She was also a pretty vigorous supporter of the Iraq War, particularly early on, and her willingess to run over individual liberties with her support of various Bush Administration programs is well known. She really isn't Chris Dodd....

I had heard there were thousands of US personnel such as FBI agents in Pakistan after Sept. 11. Why we support that hell hole is beyond me. We used to help them to counter the Soviet client India. Now that India gets weapons and economic deals from everyone around the world there is no reason to support Pakistan.

We prop up the government that is friendly behind closed doors to us. It can easily fall into radical Islamic control, which would not be good seeing as how they are nuclear armed.

I am confident we have an emergency plan to sieze all nuclear weapons if the country were to ever fall into chaos, however. That is obviously something we dont want to count on though.

Our government is not just friendly. They are fucking puppets. It's almost like all our policies are decided in Washington and not Islamabad. And as far as seizing nuclear weapons; it's not going to happen. There are too many and they are too well guarded. You would probably need tactical nukes to take them out AFTER pinpointing the location. That would be highly risky considering that we would have to be in a full scale civil war for you to even consider that. That's "democracy" for you. And the idiot government hasn't even fulfilled one promise. Inflation is high. The economy is actually shrinking after 9% growth in 2005-6. They can't provide us more than 20hrs of electricity. And democracy my ass. The judiciary that was the basis of the current government's rise to power is not even partly free. They refuse to restore the old judges who would probably bring justice to traitor Zardari.

So, other than the U.S., which other countries have signed on to provide large amounts of aid to Pakistan? Anyone at all? Just curious...
