Feeling asexual lately

I feel that I just can't go through all that searching/dating crap again, that it's not worth it. I'm feeling quite asexual, and really tired lately. Is this normal after the end of a long relationship?

How long did it take you to find someone, or to start dating again after your last break-up?

Enjoy the free time while you have it.
Do stuff that you haven't done in a while becuase you had that significant other.

just chill for a while. no one says you should be hopping right back into the game. take your time.

i'm a rebounder myself though. after my longest relationship prior to my marriage, i started dating right away. crescent fresh courtship always seemed like a great alternative to sitting around and moping. everyone's different. good luck Zypoclasm.

Well, may'be if you are heterosexual. Alot of gay guys are out for one thing. It's pretty discouraging.

You don't. And you are hardly any kind of expert on the matter anyway. In fact, you are probably the most clueless person ever when it comes to dating/relationships.

I've played both games, they are essentially the same.

I've felt that way too, just give it some time. I eventually gave up and before I knew it I found the right person.

I guess the best thing to do is stop trying and something will land in your lap.. lol

6 weeks.

Were you actively looking? Or did you just meet someone?

Just met. I admit it seems soon, but the previous relationship had been on the rocks for 6-8 months before the split.

I still am living with him. We have seperate living areas. We always did, but before it wasn't so seperate. It might be a bad idea, still living together. I dunno, I guess time will tell.

If it's any comfort, the straight women are all out for one thing, too. It's just that the "one thing" in question is some hot, "bad boy"-type guy in a rock band.

I have always thought that women were out to find and settle down with the right guy. But I guess I cannot say what women want in life.

I don't see how anything good can come out of it unless you 2 reconcile

Yah I'd get out of there, I think it might help you get back on your feet.

Honestly, I don't see a reason for you to rush back into it, relationships are bullsh!t anyway.
People are better off alone, that's the cynacist in me talking.

We aren't on bad terms. He is my best/only close friend. That's pretty sad, but I was never too social to begin with.

It may be cynical, but it's true.
I don't want to rush back into anything, but I doubt I will move. It's a nice place, and I don't want to have to go back to an apartment after living in a house.

Think again.
