Wolves are pack animals. If you saw one, there were others nearby. However, If it's barking for attention, or food, it's not a wild wolf.

Hmm...you may have a point there. The OP obviously isn't too bright. :p

OP: Dude...what's that? /points to animal
OP dingbat buddy: Dude...it's like a really big dog...with like...fur and stuff
OP dingleberry buddy: Wowzers. It's like a timberlywolfhounddogbear or something...
OP: Dudes...it's a wolf. I wonder if he likes chips? "Here wolfie-wolfie-wolfie!"

That's probably more accurate than the OP's identification of the animal.

edit: You're near Toronto? The only wolf you're going to see is at the zoo.

edit edit: On second thought, there's always the Eastern Canadian Wolf, found in Algonquin Provincial Park (near enough to Toronto.)

Dogs eat chips, sure... people feed them that junk all the time. It is as bad for them as it is for us so you probably gave that stray dog a coronary.

We used to feed chips to foxes on a golf course around here, they would climb in your power cart and steal your food if you didn't pay attention.

Because we care more about whether the "wolf" is harmful. So sue us.

Definitely a bad idea.

Mostly for the wolf's sake. It's not proper food.

But the fact that it came so close to you means it's probably already too late.

I'm also a little iffy on why you think it was a "wolf", lol......
