Feds To Put Radio Antennas On Medicine Bottles

"Food and Drug Administration and drug makers are expected to announce an agreement Monday to put tiny radio antennas on labels of millions of medicine bottles to combat counterfeiting, abuse and fraud... Developing..."
 
It's about putting transponders in labels from manufacturers, not on individuals bottles. No big deal. Helps to prevent counterfeiting, which has run rampant.
 
Actually, just watched a CNN thing a few days back where they are going to do the same with all commercial merchandise. They said eventually your fridge would be able to tell you when your milk outdates.

Yes and if you are near a store the house will tell the car and the car will tell you. Can't wait till all my traits and sexual fantasies are hard wired and a suitable mate for me walks by and says by golly my computer says you're perfect. Get in and I'll take you home.

Exactly. This is just RFID technology. It's not like they can track every bottle from a central location. Sheesh - some people need to lay off the tinfoil...
