They are noticeably the worst out of the 3 big carriers in my experience. Lost packages, delayed and misrouted packages. Are they really that much more busy than the others that there's a valid reason for it? Almost 10 days late, I would be fuming. Hell I'm fuming for you. Hope you've at least called to open a case.

Fedex has never been the same since they bought out Roadway package systems and made it "Fedex Ground".... then things got FAR worse when they made a delivery deal for slower packages with the USPS.

You still get reliable service with the top-tier fastest/most expensive service but anything else your package may well be shunted off to a person that just doesn't care.

Their tracking is the absolute worst of the 3 carriers. I live in WV and was supposed to get a package on Monday but when the tracking hit after I got up and unlocked the door so they could get in the package said it was in MO. The next day it was in OH but I got that delievery pending crap so I got up again and unlocked the door and still no package. I finally got it today though.

Did your package go through Alabama?

That's.... unexpected. I'm surprised the cops ran across them before FedEx noticed missing deliveries

He said it DID eventually arrive so I'm guessing no! :D

And a paragraph on the back of each one.

It was a typical case of American blind justice!

It arrived about 2 weeks late. It was intact but poorly packaged.....again.

Maybe bubble wrap or foam shells in short supply?

FedEx here has been terrible. The tracking says "before 5 pm," then, "Delayed" pretty regularly.

I'm waiting for Fed-Up to deliver a generator. Originally, delivery was scheduled for Wed. 12/8. Then on Friday, then said, " your package will be delivered EARLY. Expect delivery on Monday 12/6 between 0920 and 2:55 pm."
Then, "delivery pending. No delivery date available."
Now, " delivery between 12/6 and 12/8"

Wasn't that long ago, FedEx was the best in the biz...now, they've become the worst.

Saw this and it reminded me of this thread

/Fedex is not unionized, lots of disgruntled employees doing bare minimum

A guy on a car forum I visit regularly said fedex left a rifle outside his house without bothering having him sign for it. I’ve had them just leave wine without having me sign for it as well despite the clear warnings on the package that it’s alcohol and needs a signature.

I get my medications delivered, I ask them to use their courier service instead of FedEx because the courier will get out of his car and ring my doorbell or call me so someone can come & sign for the meds. Not just put a stickie on the building door saying sorry you missed us, pick your package up here

Fedex track Oct 20 AM.PNG

and the item inside arrived broken. I didn't even bother to try to make a claim.

I was behind a fedex van this morning and one of the doors flew open when he took off at the light, was trying to get his attention somehow but he eventually noticed it after 10 minutes or so, maybe your package is on the side of the road somewhere.

Looking at those packages going back and forth between terminals makes me think the loaders were both blind and deaf.
I worked for ground at a terminal doing about every job there. When you load those transfer vans you wear a hand scanner(Symbol wt4090). When you scan the package before it is loaded it makes a small beep if its ok to load and a louder different sound to tell you not to load it.

Mine get fulfilled by USPS, so they go straight in the mailbox. I typically re-order when I have 6-7 weeks supply left, so I have time to get things taken care of if there's a mistake.

Few years back I ordered an activation kit from TracFone. A Sim card and code. Paid a buck or so for it and figured they'd toss it in the mail. Nope. They sent iot FedEx Direct Signature required. FedEx flat refused to leave it. I left notes on the gate and signed their post it notices. They still refused. Three days later they sent it back to TracFone as undeliverable.

All for a silly one dollar postcard sized item.
