LOL, you upgrade too much. I generally use only a couple CPU's per year. I started this year with an Athlon XP 1600+ and ended with an Athlon XP 2000+. I think I switched videocards twice though...GeForce 2 GTS to a GeForce 3 very early in the year, and then I went to this GeForce 4 Ti 4200 a few months ago.

LOL! Check this log out...it was just updated:

-Arrived at FedEx Ramp BARTONVILLE IL 01/03/2003 03:18
-Held at Sort Facility MEMPHIS TN 01/02/2003 16:08
-Left FedEx Sort Facility MEMPHIS TN 01/02/2003 15:45
-Held at Sort Facility MEMPHIS TN 01/02/2003 15:01
-Arrived at Sort Facility MEMPHIS TN 01/02/2003 12:18
-Left FedEx Sort Facility LOS ANGELES CA

I live in Farmington, MO, which is about 70miles south of St.Louis. If you'll plot all that on a map, you'll see that they make a LOT of rediculous trips. For example, they went from Los Angeles to Memphis...that's more miles than from Los Angeles to my house! Then, instead of driving to St. Louis, or my town, they go over FOUR HOURS northwest of St. Louis, which is 8 wasted hours...or roughly 500miles of wasted travelling. LOL!

And what's with "Held at Memphis", THEN "Left Memphis", and THEN "Held at Memphis". How is it possible to hold it in Memphis if it's not there anymore :p Obviously, it wasn't really held there, because it appeared in Bartonville next...

"Bartonville" eh? Sounds like a place many of us hope to be soon. :D

It usually takes 2 days for me, but sometimes it'll take more than a week. That is why I only choose Saver if I don't NEED to have it in 2 days.

To answer your question, there are a lot of possibilities.
Fedex has several Sort Facilities in Memphis, when it first got there, it went to one of the sort facility, and then was held there for about 3-4 hours, then it went to another sort facility, from this one, it was going to another state.

Fedex Saver Shipping is usually 3 business days. Says Newegg shipped it on Monday, it will be at its destination by the end of Thursday. If the package was mailed on Thursday or Friday, you wouldn't receive it until the following week. If the package was misrouted, it would take more than 3 business days.

I just place an order at Newegg. for mb, cpu and ram yesterday afternoon, and heard a knock on my door. It was FedX! Now THAT was fast!........but it wasn't from Newegg!;)

I choose the fast order processing for an extra $3.99.

Placed order around 15:00 on Jan 2. By 17:00 I had a tracking number and a your order was shipped email.

We'll see how long it takes to southern Illinois....

In my experience, in southflorida it takes 7days usually. Sometimes 10. Business days, not calendar days.

It would've been hilarious if you answered the door butt ass naked. The look on the Fed-Ex person's face would've been priceless. They actually don't leave packages without prior authorization, so you'd have to go to their facility to pick it up. Ugh.

How did you hear the doorbell in the shower?

It was a lady in I'd say...40-50's :p

My front door is literally facing the downstairs bathroom...it's about 20-30 ft down though. Plus, we have wood floors, so sounds carry through the house well. It's hard to NOT hear people at the door that way.

I liked the Chieftec case my sister got today so much, I ordered one for myself. But I got a black one with a fan on the side window. Her's is a green server tower w/window. Sweet cases, and I can't believe the price. $69 shipped is awesome...and it's 2 day shipping for me!

Yeah... after various incidents in which I missed packages I asked to sign the signature waiver form. Now they leave it by my doorstep. ;)

Unfortunately UPS claims such waiver forms don't exist or every time I ask about a waiver they give me some BS mumbo jumbo... (I hate UPS)... :disgust:
