Fedex Question *Update*

Okay, quick question for anyone who has tried this.
I've got a package that was sent to me last friday, it got to my local Fedex place on saturday. Its not DUE for delivery until wensday though. If I went to the fedex location, and tried to pickup the package myself, would they let me?
Here's info from tracking number -

fedex locations doesn't have an external, open to public phone numbers most of the time (99.99%).

i think it's best to go there and try.

 
How would I go about figuring out where it is?
on the fedex website, you can get places where you can actually ship stuff, but I don't see anykind of main distribution place or anything.
 
it's possible that it will be delivered early. fedex doesn't update schedualed delivery unless it's going to be late. even if the status shows out for delivery it still will have the original schedualed delivery date.
 
I doubt they'll let you, the drivers get paid by the package delivered, so I sure as hell wouldn't want you picking up the package if I was going to deliver it.
 
You probably will not be able to get it. The big issue, is how it was sent, and what the shipper paid for! If the shipper paid for ground service, the package will be delivered in the time frame that that service warants.

I tried this when I was expecting a package....Fed-Ex website says the package is at the local depot (but not expected to be delivered for another 3 days:Q), I call and they said the package was NOT processed for delivery. In other words, it will sit until it is processed to be delivered to the address shipped to.

Kinda sux! But patience is a virtue....or something like that😉
 
It all depends, they will put the package in the delivery truck but the delivery guy will only deliver if he has time left to deliver on that day.
 
Called Fedex main office, they said no problem, your local office will call you, they callled 30 min later, and said come pick it up.
