Whole zip codes are gone.
September 17, 2001:
As commerce begins to recover today across America and around the
world, we wanted you to know that FedEx Express, with the exception
of some zip codes in lower Manhattan (see list below), has resumed
air service to all locations within our global network. Also,
beginning today, September 17, we will reinstate our money-back
guarantees for shipments accepted within the United States including
FedEx International Priority shipments, as well as for FedEx
International Priority shipments originating from most countries
outside the United States.
Other FedEx operating companies, including FedEx Ground, FedEx
Freight, FedEx Custom Critical and FedEx Trade Networks, are
operating at their normal, high levels of service.
We, at FedEx, extend our heartfelt sympathy to all those affected by
this terrible tragedy. Our employees continue to expedite medical
supplies, emergency equipment and payroll related shipments and have
contributed much of their time to volunteer efforts, just as so many
other Americans have done this past week.
We look forward to continuing to provide service to you and millions
of other businesses across America as we work together to make this
great country stronger than ever before.
Should you have further questions, please do not reply to this e-mail.
