FedEx employee caught on camera throwing packages

Bah. Who gives a shit? Anybody notice that those boxes all weigh nothing? Customers routinely put dainty nothingness in larger FedEx boxes because they barely pay for the packaging and don't care. And instead of climbing into and out of the truck several times over, I'd have chucked them in too. Not like she was violently throwing them, christ.

I have to agree to an extent. If there was anything of weight in those boxes (and hence at risk of being damaged) then it wouldn't be possible to chuck them like that. That said, wouldn't it be easier to stack the boxes rather than having to dig them out of a pile once it's time to retrieve them?

You know I think we should have cameras in all offices, cubicles, break rooms, workshops or wherever there is work or work-related activity going on, then post any and all videos with the slightest hint of wrongdoing.
 
Wow what the heck? I don't see the big deal here. Poor lady if these are the only types of packages she tossed around.

I can only imagine the reaction when a camera caught footage of a burger flipper digging his nose while doing his McJob.

she's picking up packages from someone and bringing it back. The owner giving her the packages doesn't mind it. If she stacked something so light they'd topple over at the turns anyways. She probably has other stuff to pickup and be at the depot. Looks harmless to me and if the person sending out those packages is ok with it, I don't see much of an issue.
 
Thanks to internet shopping, the volume of packages that must be sorted and delivered has skyrocketed exponentially. It is extremely difficult for a preloader or driver to keep up with that demand.

Of course, just throwing them into a pile doesn't really make things easier. they should still be sorted and put in the proper place.

The robots do that.

When they bring the picked up packages back to the depot, there's a giant claw arm that picks up the truck and shakes it out onto a conveyor belt.

Don't worry, they fired her over it anyway.

I'm sure she'll have no problem finding a job working as a baggage handler at the airport, though, so no harm done!
 
Dumb ho. If you don't want to do the job how it's supposed to be done then do a different job.

People who say it's ok....well this is why you get packages broken. It's a huge hassle to go through all that, get a refund, and then have to have a new one sent. And it raises the price for the rest of us when they have to pay insurance. She obviously take zero pride in her job or has any respect for your property.

For all you know this is the easiest she's been on them. She might rent them out to stunt men to fall on after hours 😀
 
I wouldn't throw anything if I were a courier... but they'd probably fire me within a week for being too damn slow.

My guess is that the sorting center is x1000 worse on packages than the drivers, so I just try not to think about it. Amazon sent me a loose package and I sent it back. Meh.
