if anything using ff today is more like using chrome. i even saw concepts of ff ui that looked near identical to chrome. i dont know why ff feels they have to make themselves more like chrome. what, with the number updates every month or so. by this time next year we'll probably have ff 30 or something ridiculous.
 
It is pretty funny. Firefoxs current UI looks quite a bit like Operas and their next "Australis" UI looks a lot like Chrome.

There's definitely been a lot of imitating going on but sometimes that's what happens with competition. Besides, I think the fast release cycle has actually done well for Firefox.
