FED EX sucks

Grr I'm am hating fedex more and more.

I was supposed to get my package from new egg today. its an epson 4870 scanner. Its shipped to our office so someone would be there to sign for it. I personally don't know the last names of every employee working there. so I figured it was signed for by one of the employees. Low and behold when I stop by our office the package ain't there. No one signed for it.

Checked signature proof, Fedex delievered to the wrong addy. Called up fedex to see if its newegg error in print wrong label or not. finds out the address was printed correctly but shipped the wrong place. It took the rep almost a good minute to figure out the error.

our address is 2593 ste #5, they deliever to 2435 ste #30. Same street.

How can the driver not notice. do they just blindly scan packages without looking? the place they delievered to was a cell phone shop. Newegg prints the label with our office name on them also.

Now I have to go the address and ask them to give me my package. Fedex won't start their process till monday. which is finding the driver, get the driver to retake package then deliever it to me. My guess 2-3 business days.

On a previous order a driver claimed they couldn't find the huge medical office building. Yet UPS, DHL, and another Fedex driver has been able to find our office perfectly fine. Customer service 1st claim they leave a note saying its the correct address package will go out next day. Next day nothing. rep #2 then tells me we don't kow if its a residence or a business.

Now who should I bitch too. monday I will call newegg and let them know my issue. I am for sure refusing to deal with any possible damage as none of our people signed for it. Anyone think newegg will go the extra mile and replace my scanner if there's damage and they deal with fedex on damage claims.

Fedex > UPS

the rest I don't even know.

I cannot stand UPS cause the packages are always damaged, and more expensive, and take longer to receive!
Fedex is always fast, packages are mint, and it's even closer to my house.. (the pickup depots)

Fedex rocks in my opinion.

when I switched to shipping with fedex I was very happy. indeed its was alot better. But lately I've been get crap service.

Anytime I order items online, I always have them shipped to my work, as I'm never home (they won't leave packages at my apartment door). Twice, once with UPS and once with FedEx, have they delivered to the wrong address. My work addy is 3440, yet they deliver to the car lot next door at 3540. Once I had to track it down over a day's time, the next time the car lot called over and told me I had a package over there 🙂.

It happens.

How can you judge fed ex as a whole based on the service you have had?

what do you expect me to judge them on? I deal with them mainly for recieving office/medical supplies. we specifically go with fedex for recieving expensive medical supplies such as dental handpieces. UPS gets less fragile items like gloves etc. Our suppliers mainly go with UPS, fedex is often extra. After having trouble with ups we went and paid extra for fedex.

After switching to fedex for recieving. whenever I ship stuff I only do Fedex for personal and business. i ship more personal than business.

This isn't the only time though. This is probably more like the straw the broke the camels back.

Every carrier sucks at some point in time. I loved the time when I drove over 300 miles only to find out Fedex lost the server.
For the most part though Fedex usually has been better than other carriers.

hehe for me DHL sucks... I was suppose to get a package from outpost.com today. It was suppose to be shipped to my work. Said attempted delivery at 5:27pm. I work here all day and into the night! None tried to deliver anything... Called up an they said will deliver it on tuesday. I paid for 2nd day air also. I could of gotten free ground shipping.. would of taken the same amount of time... :/

DHL has done the same thing to me. good thing I checked early I called and within twenty minutes the driver comes back with me waiting at the door. He didn't seem too happy. Looks to like he was having lunch.

Nothing? Of course you can judge Fed Ex in your area based off the service, but generalizing is retarded. While so many other people think Fed Ex is kick ass, you think it sucks...sh!t, same thing with HDs really. Just saying it is dumb to say Fed Ex sucks when you are just having trouble with your fedex.

For me, DHL sucks big time. Used them (Airborne Express = DHL) at OfficeMax a few months back to send smthing 2nd day air back to Dell, took like 1 week to get there! Paid like $50, but luckily used a OM 50% off coupon so paid $25.

Called to file a claim and waited and waited for 30 days... nothing, called to find claim dept number and they don't know it. Had to call DHL HQ operator to get the claims dept, called them up and lady took care of it right on the phone, will credit me back $48 (somehow the system ? didn't register me as paying $25), got check in mail within 5-7 days for failure of service..., serves them right to mess up the shipment and make me wait all that time...

No more OM/Airborne/DHL for me... and to boot, when shipped of pkg, a newbie was running the counter at the store, and it took literally 30 min for him to figure how to enter everything, I had to give him my addy 3 times... on the 3rd time, I just wrote it down on a piece of paper so I wouldn't have to spell out everything... a nightmare all around... and I was being understanding and patient all the time...but boiling up inside...
