Fed Ex lying to get out payback

I have an important delivery coming and it never left Indianapolis yesterday.

Call the bastards and (the first woman) could not tell me what was going on! :| Second person said weather delay and airplanes could not take off. Fair enough.

I was not satisfied. Now this is kind of sleazy but I just didn't believe the response of what I was told so I contacted someone I know at the FAA and gave the necessary information. Sure enough, those fvcktards lied to me. :|

How many of you have called to hear about weather delays?

I'll PM you with some advice. My sig use to say, "I encourage you not to use FedEx to ship your packages."

Its really a shame how impatient we all have become in today's society. By the way, I am including myself in that finger pointing🙁

Sit back, enjoy your life, and be thankful that you are able to order almost anything from almost anywhere and have it delivered to your doorstep.

And that applies to this how?

If it's important, time-sensitive material, how is not getting the service he paid for impatient?

I'm glad that there are people in the world who you can stick it to without giving it a 2nd thought.

Because they guarantee delivery by a particular time/date, Fedex is often used for shipping time-sensitive material and documents, especially by businesses. He's just trying to get the service he paid for.

UPS always delivers at weird times for me. I've only had a problem with them once. They said their plane was delayed. Regardless I got the $200 or whatever it was back for the overnight refunded as it didn't arrive until a few days afterwards...

There are certain things that are extremely time sensitive. Medical products, products that need to be sent via courier chilled, products required for business use.

It comes down to this. The business is failing to provide a paid service. If they cannot guarantee next day delivery when a person pays for it, they should only charge for 2nd day and have it boldy stated they can't as a disclaimer next to the next day shipping, and offer a guaranteed next day delivery service.

where did it say it was a medical item? where did it say he paid next day? oh, it doesn't?
i'm pretty sure if you need a medical item that bad, you don't have fedex ship it...does fedex even ship cold/perishable items?

interesting, I like fedex over ups, ups has screwed me and my brother a few times. Like, didn't deliver because of "bad weather and icy roads" but there was only an inch of snow on the ground, yet they were delivering when an ice storm came through and literally coated everything in an inch (or more) of ice.

Hrrmm, each to his own I guess

A quick check came up with yesterdays weather in Indy....
Let's see max temp 25* F.......Minimum 11* F........ Precipitation 1"........ There may be reason to slow air traffic down.....
