I have no other place to put my computer. 🙂 It also allows me to put my tower in the closet and have it be hidden. (Also don't hear it as much)

Both trying out Windows 7 apparently. I refuse to test a beta product like that. I already have problems with Windows Vista and my hardware,

I don't really use this machine for that much lately anyway, mainly web browsing so I figured I'd just give it a try. So far I haven't had any problems though and I do think it's an improvement over Vista.

Windows 7 fixes most of Vista's problems, it's extremely stable. I have had some minor problems with Windows Media Player 12 and the Snipping Tool but the OS itself has been rock solid.

It is an improvement, but there are bugs that need to be fixed. I refuse to move on from Windows Vista until a few months after Service Pack 1 of Windows 7. By Service Pack 1, it should be quite stable. 😉

How the fuck would you know? You don't use it. Presumably you are relying on bullshit information from the unwashed internet masses, the same idiots who are responsible for Vista's (mostly undeserved) horrible reputation. Go check on some reliable sources for your information, you'll find almost universal support in the tech industry for Windows 7. Even Leo Laporte, a self-confessed Apple sycophant is calling for the immediate release of Windows 7 because it's so solid and such a huge improvement over Vista.
