Where are you all buying flowers for only $50. I spent $85 for a dozen red roses for the wife yesterday at the local florist.

My wife doesn't care about Valentine's Day but since we've been married, I have always given her some expensive jewelry. It's a combo gift for Valentine's and our anniversary (March). The reason for jewelry is because she's a very frugal person when it comes to that kind of stuff. All she had was stuff from Marshall's, TJ Max, etc.. and anything that was a gift. Also, I never gave her jewelry as a gift when we were boyfriend/girlfriend. The only jewelry she'd get at that point was an engagement ring making her my fiance.
holy hell. i never pay more than $30 for flowers.

That's your problem right there. If you go to local florist for Valentines day flowers, you're getting raped. Any big box stores like Costco, Walmart, Trader Joe's, Kroger, or even Whole Foods will have normal and reasonable priced flowers.

I bought my woman some Omeprazole. She is happy since now she can eat food without firethroat.

Costco and Wal-Mart have terrible quality flowers in comparison to my local florist. Dunno about Whole Foods.

BS. Nothing Costco sells is of terrible quality.
Some Costco stuff is crappy. Maybe not Wal-Mart crappy, but crappy nonetheless. They sell a lot of good stuff too though, and usually for decent prices.

And yes, I have a Costco membership.
