Weird. I go out to throw the garbage away and the moon looks freaky. Forgot all about the lunar eclipse......:laugh:
 
God damnit I think I missed it. I can't seem to find the damn thing because I'm in the city and I have like 2 windows in my apartment. 🙁
 
oh lol I though it was gonna be dark completely. I guess that is only when the moon blocks the sun.
 
wow, talk about a thick overcast... i think im done viewing for the night...

Onto other news, is the weather holding to let them shoot that sucker out of the sky?
 
Can't see it here in NW Washington... I think it's behind the hill I live on. Maybe I'll get lucky and it will get high enough to see before it ends.
 
It's brownish red.

Here on the West Coast it'll last from 7:01PM to 7:51PM, with it's reddest at mid-eclipse.
 
Just froze my backside watching it here... pretty cool.

Can we schedule the next one for a warm summer evening though? 🙂
