A lot of the other message boards, that follow this style, have a link to the forum you're in at the top of every page. When I post a reply or new message currently I have to click back three times and re-load the page to get current one. It would be nice to have a link at the top of the page or have it done automatically after every reply (which would require more bandwidth.)

If I'm reading you right, after you reply you want to get back to that forum's main page (the one that lists the threads that can be read)???

If you hit "threads" (look under the home tab) that will take you there. 🙂

I may not be reading this right, but couldn't you also just push the "THREADS"? It's right under the bar with Logout, Home, Help... That takes you back to the main page of the particular forum that you're in. The "FORUMS" button takes you to the same place that Home takes you.

Is this what you mean or am I just confused?

Took me a few months to figure out those links were there too. Maybe some bold tags should be added?

The point of making something bold is that it would stand out, like, oh my, navigation. Seems to me that navigation is important..

more importantly: within a thread... is there something that says from what forum it came from? many times i have searched for a thread, and wondered what forum it came from when viewing it. i end up having to do a search of each forum to eliminate the ones it's not in.

I think the "Categories" pull down reads what forum you're in, and has it at the top.

jeeze dude, maybe you should learn where the left and right mouse buttons are before you ask any more forum questions

one step at a time, you can do it....

How many web sites have you designed? How much have you read up on site navigation? It is interesting, there is more to it than "if they're smart like they should be, they'll figure it out".
