Feature Request: Option to disable highlighting after search

Am I the only one that doesn't like the mandatory highlighting of the word you were searching for? I understand it could be useful to some people, but it would be good to at least have an option to disable it. As it is, I have to delete the "highlight&key=yelloblahblah" portion of the URL and wait for the page to reload. If I really want to find the phrase I was searching for, I can just search the page, or use my Google toolbar to highlight.

Thanks.

I TOTALLY agree. That highlighting is annoying as hell. It makes it hard to read per the abrupt yellow jumping out at me while I'm reading. It's quite distracting.

We do not alter the forums in any way, so please do not ask as we will not modify the forum code.

No offense, but it sounds like a robot when you write out stuff like that Zuni... no wonder some people question if you're real ;)

you mean zuni isn't a Bot?

hey Zuni.. out of curiousity-- PHP has a lot of 'aftermarket support' (whatever you would call).. i mean, lots of add-ons and Mods that can be installed to the forums to make them more versitile. Is there any support for this with Fusetalk--- or is a what you see is what you get kind of thing?

Go to E-zone Media, they make FuseTalk, the software we use here. They love suggestions ;).
