Attack on the colonia was so weak and stupid. So many ways they could have defended it, and then the guys that took it over all die to a bunch of zombies? they could have easily wiped out the zombies.

Meh, new season has started. I can't believe I'm still watching this. 🙁

Anyone want to bet this is the last season?

I'd be extremely surprised if it was the last season. I don't know for sure but I'd say it's successful. I actually lost interest part way through the first season but finished it with a kind of "meh" attitude. I ended up re-watching the season and really enjoyed it actually and have liked it since.

I thought last night's premiere was great but I'm f'ing pissed about
Travis dying. Damnit, I liked him and he was turning into a BA (badass). I held out hope that he miraculously survived but from the sounds of Talking Dead he's actually dead. FML

*** He could still be walking 😉

That was a shocker last night. Even after it happened, you are like 'Nahh, no way'. No freakin' way !?! Those are the kind of moments that either make or break a show.

Probably shot their wad for the year budget and action wise. Look for slow, deep thinking scenes with lots of close ups and drawn out dialogue.

Ironic to go through what he went through and get taken out like that.

I love Kim Dickens but how can even her character stand Nick?

More shades of Deadwood to come?

Just random bourbon inspired thoughts.

Well, I just saw it last night.
We're Jewish. The pot smoking plot definitely caught me by surprise, praise Jesus.
And we have a fried Mexican walking. (Daniel)

just finished watching tonight's episode, s04e02, and it is by far, the best Walking Dead episode of either series in quite some time. while the Walking Dead has been losing it's luster, Fear the Walking Dead just keeps getting better, starting with season 3. i never expected Fear to surpass the original series, but that has now happened, imo.

What's the difference?

i haven't made it to s03e05 yet - same for the last years worth of TWD. it just seems to be a chore to watch but i'm a completionist. is it even worth my time to try and catch up?

The Vultures seem pretty boring.
Yes. I don't see that developing w/o violence at some point. There's nothing to stop any large vehicle from crashing the gate and sending in a herd of zombies sort of like the Sanctuary on TWD. But I can't believe they're going to retread that plot line. So hopefully it's interesting given that we're supposed to believe that the Vultures succeeded.

I recorded the last episode and when I watched it I FF it to near the end and that's all I had to see. Thank god, is it over?

i heard they are now on the same timeline as TWD and that Morgan found his way there...
Yeah they're on the same timeline now. When I first heard that Morgan was appearing in Fear I thought it would be done by flashbacks, since on the Walking Dead it's several years past the outbreak and in Fear it's probably less than a year. But no, it's the same timeline, which means between season 3 and 4 (the latter being current season) of Fear they skipped over multiple years of history. Maybe they'll show some in flashbacks but more likely they'll just pretend it never existed.

Kinda weird, but I'm liking Fear more than regular Walking Dead now.
