4-minute long trailer for Season 6 too:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Va1UPrFXHKA

Whoohoo! :awe:

Looks awesome. Cant wait.

Finally some good footage.

im kinda sad I saw it. Too much info!!!!!

AHHH

Awwww shiiiit. Can't wait!

And I'm with manimal here... I almost wish I didn't see. It does look like this season should be a good ride.

Here's to hoping that wasn't all the good scenes and the show is them stumbling around most of the time though and going through the same drama.

I can't wait for FTWD. Anything that has to do with the premise is fine with me. The fact its set in California is more the better (Georgia is getting kind of old).

Walking Dead in LA

"Only a nobody walks in LA". That should be your first sign something's wrong with them. :)

Just read that though the pilot is filmed in Los Angeles the rest of the series will be filmed in Vancouver BC. Canada is NOT California! I'm pissed off now. So sick of that wet, gray place being passed off as California, the South, NYC - whatever just because networks are cheapskates about location filming. Bastards.

Well I don't think they'll often film when it is wet and gray. When you need to stick to a scenery style, they'll do that. Also - Post FX are very much involved here.

Shooting "on scene" is incredibly expensive and counterintuitive. Almost nothing is filmed where it is supposed to take place. We barely get good production quality out of TV with the way they approach things now. Do you want them to spend more on location so that the actors and or production team gets less? Do you want bad TV? There's finite budgets - I'm fine with them faking the location (they do this very well these days - they can make a location look exactly how they want it to look, regardless of what it looks like in the source video) if that means we get enjoyable production quality.

Eric Draven, is that you?

Seriously, kid looks like Brandon Lee, or actually anyone who's plaid the Crow.

The church scene with the flashlight was pretty intense...definitely got my heart beating with him doing nothing but waving the light around.

This is so different compared to the original... Cast chemistry seems better. Feels higher budget too, but they should be printing money at this point.

So I looked up IMDB... only American in the main family is the wife. Step dad is from New Zealand, daughter is Australian, the Crow is British.

They are getting into it pretty quick in the second hour.

Yeah it's starting to pick up, I was worried about the pacing the first hour...was slow. I like how they prey on what you know...like the dad's flashlight scene in the church, or the dead dealer possibly waking up a zombie. So far, none of the characters really grab you right off the bat like Rick did. It does have potential though...they had a couple intense scenes there. I liked the ending up until the last bit, I think they should have taken out the dealer with a headshot like they saw on TV, but I'd assume that's how they're going to open the second one. It shows promise!
