FEAR 3 or BlackOps this Nov ?

I am not rich I cant barely afford a single game, let alone blackops which is 60 dollars.

Well I can get one of these games as birthday present. Which one do you think will have a longer life span, like which game will not get old after 1 year or 2 years... I remember FEAR multiplayer slo mo was fun. MW2 is soo nice but BlackOps looks amazing with the customization of characters etc.. servers also matter how many of them at what latency, FEAR COmbat never had more then 700 servers...

So which would you get, which should I get ?

What world do you live in? MW2 is still going for 55 used gamestop/40 ebay/35 CL. This game came out on like 2008. Black Ops will be the same.

MW2 came out in late 2009, but in either case, it is going to take more than a year for it to reach that kind of price.

I would chose black ops because of friends and addictive online game play.

unless they put dedicated servers back in black ops is going to suck online just like mw2. can't really recommend fear 3 either, even though fear was good, just haven't read enough about it.

so you're making recommendations, even though you know nothing of either game? Dedicated servers were confirmed a while ago for Black Ops.

not exactly. i can't recommend or not recommend fear 3 (which is delayed till 2011 anyway) based on not knowing much about it. i can say that like mw2, fear 2 didn't have dedicated multiplayer servers either. i don't know if fear 3 does or does not, but obviously i was misinformed about black ops. i personally played fear and fear 2 for the single player, but that's just me. it will have co-op as well, but again, not much interest for me.

i know a bit more than nothing, but quite honestly after mw2 i'm just not feeling that excited about anything in the cod line.

if i had one game to buy this fall i would probably pick up dead rising 2, or perhaps wait and see how medal of honor plays out.

edit: almost forgot about fallout new vegas.

uhh.. both.. for sure..

but there haven't been any decent previews of FEAR 3 yet.. at least, not that I've seen... Black Ops looks awesome but I can't wait for MoH next week! 😎

I think this will be a moot point and you go with MOH! If I recall reading in Game Informer, both are delayed until 2011 so you won't have to worry about the choice in November..
