Fear 3 - ANOTHER PRICE DROP $6.14

Man, I'm so behind on game releases. I thought F.E.A.R. 2 just came out half a year ago... Regardless, looks like this game follows in the footsteps of the 2nd game. Meaning it's worse than the predecessor.
 
I downloaded the game this morning. For less than $8 it's hard to pass this one up. 🙂

I have played through the first 3 levels of FEAR 3 and I like it. No, it's not as good as FEAR, but it's better than FEAR 2. Not sure about the graphics engine, but it reminds of BioShock's. IMHO, this game is easily worth $7.83.
 
If one had never played or known of the preceding FEAR
Games, can it be said of FEAR 3 that it is a worthwhile
Experience? Disregarding the story and ambition
Of the original, Does this game offer a Play-it-through-once
Value?

I know it's selling cheap right now, so there is not much
to lose, but I would really like to hear feedback on this
game without comparing it to its predecessors. Just
pretend that it isn't called FEAR 3. Make up another title for it
and go from there. Maybe this will invite some interesting
responses.

Damn I can't believe I posted this from my iPhone, how
incredibly cumbersome.
 
I bought the game about a week ago. I have enjoyed playing it. It's has decent graphics and a variety of weapons. The game is challenging at times, made worse by the fact that you CANNOT save whenever you want only check points. IMHO going to a movie cost about $10 and last about 90 minutes. I purchased without leaving my house for less than $8. I have been playing this game every day for the last 10 days and have enjoyed it. 🙂

it's definitely worth it at this price. it does a pretty solid job of recreating the FEAR 1 environment.
