all i have on it is an extended dos drive. there are no logical drives defined. when i try deleting the partition, it tells me it can't delete cuz of logical drives. when i try to delete logical drives, it tells me it can't delete them cuz they don't exist. anyone know how to fix this?

Sounds like you may have an overlay on it. You have given us so much information that it might take months to process all of it.

Try using this. It's a pretty powerful tool, although the only thing I've ever really used it for is deleting partitions that didn't want to be deleted.

LOL!

Happy Puppy may be right about the overlay. How did you fdisk it the first time? MaxBlast or ? Use that same program to blow it away. Otherwise, as much as I hate the software solutions, use Partition Magic to deal with it.

LMAO... the first few times I read the title I thought it said "fscking my hdd..."... 😕

Now it makes more sense.
