Gday people,
I want to reformat and partition my h/d, currently all is on one sector - 40gb - with w2Kpro. I want to start from scratch, hv maybe 4 x 10gb partitions. I have read the ms knowledge base article on this subject, but I need point by point instructions.
My system is: kt7a, 40gb quantum, 256hyundail sdram, 1.2athlon. I believe there is a conflict between some amds and win95, I wish to use my 95boot disk, and install 95osr2 with 98se as the upgrade on one of the sectors, and win2kpro on another sector.
I hv never created muliple partions b4, so any help appreciated. Tks.

1) Boot off floppy
2) Type "fdisk"
3) Select "yes" for enabling large partitons/FAT32
4) Select option to delete current partitions
5) Select option to create primary partition
6) Set primary partition to active
7) Create extended partition
8) Create logicial partions in extended partition
9) Exit, reboot, and format partitions
10) Install 9x w/ 98SE on C:
11) Install 2k on D:

Gday H0vic, thanks for your prompt reply, I'll give that a go. I'm still a bit concerned about w95, cos previously it would not boot except in safe mode. I got error msg just after the drivers started loading, fortunately once, it managed to boot with drivers, (therefore I was able to use cd)and I was able to then load win2k. Since then I have had no success whatever when trying to get 95 to boot up. Any ideas? I think its a win95 and amd conflict, someone gave me a ms knowledge base ref but I didnt check it out, and now I've lost the reference.
Cheers
