FDD and PCWAVE m810LR Problems...

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of assembling two systems for friends using a PCWAVE M810LR motherboard. It's based on the SiS730s chipset and comes with your all in one sort of stuff. You can check out the exact details of the mobo here.

My problem is that the floppy drives will not read or write within windows or dos. I've assembled a few systems before and know to check for the green light on the floppy drive (meaning the ide cable is not inserted properly, correct?). The BIOS picks it up fine, and I even thought I may have had faulty FDD's on my hands, so I tested them on two other systems and they worked perfectly. I'm beginning to think it's a problem with the motherboard. Neither system has any additional components installed aside from a hard drive and some cd-roms, since their basic needs are met with the built in solutions on the board. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I have built a slug of machines with this motherboard and have never had a problem. Make sure you have the correct floppy selected in BIOS; 3 1/2 and not 5 1/4. make sure you don't have the floppy cable end for end. The end with the twist goes to the A: drive.
