This is the one reason why I keep a modem in my machine. If you have broadband your ISP usually gives you a few hours of dialup access a month for roaming. Even if they don't advertise it, just use their dialup number and log in using your broadband username and password. It usually works.

I found this out while trying to fax resumes. I didn't try those website fax services, but I read that they suck balls.
