Fax over ip?

For the first time I actually have a need to send out faxes on a semi-regular basis, and I do not have access to a land line currently. Paying nearly $1 a page at Kinkos gets pretty costly, anyone know the cheapest method I could get this accomplished using the powers of ip + and a plain old fax machine?

Thanks!

Does it have to be a fax? You could get a .pdf writer fairly cheap, and send it via email.

Fax is the only method.

Looks like that would run $20+ a month, maybe more since I believe I would have to scan everything I send increasing the file sizes and time it takes to send. Sounds reasonable..

@work I give those calling for paperwork of activities/report(s) option of fax and/or email(can scan paper docs/images to email which for some reason noone else will do :() ..once I email after faxing the same..they usually ask for email(usually shows whilst still on phone ;)) from then on..:)

jconnect. You can email them a scanned document and they'll fax it out (or scan to fax yourself)

where are you faxing to? 253, 425, 206?

All over the US, although mostly in the NW (WA, OR, ID..)

I was thinking about a local fax server, but that won't really help you.
