Fax on XP

Hello I am using XP with broadband connection, I would like to send and recieve faxes from my computer.
Some time into the wizard, I am asked what I would like to use to send my faxes, heres where my problem lies. It doesnt give me a choice and it picks my 56k modem. As this is not plugged in I cannot go any further with the wizard,[well I can only I get eror messages that modem is not connected]. Is it possible to connect my modem via the splitter on my btopenworld splitter or is there another option. ie congiguring it to use my usp broadband modem.

You could try using just a normal phone line splitter from your DSL line into your 56K modem. It just might work. It also would be relatively cheap to try. You can get one for under $2 at RS.
