Favorites List for IE

Why is it when I add a favorite to my list in IE, the icon is generally the company logo for a short while, then it switches to the basic HTML logo. Does it have to do with temp internet files?

The favicon for the related site is stored in your temp files

Mozilla has the same "feature".... favicons are cached, and eventually expire, so they get purged.

Correct.

When you do a "Disk Cleanup" in start>prog>acces>system tools, it del those (if you select del temp files)
