All,

Looking for your suggestions on XP tweaking tools beyond MS PowerToys....would prefer that it be free and fairly stable.....

If you have other tweaking programs for other parts of the PC (Video, hardrives, etc) let me know... or maybe you have a favorite website that has a good collection of tweaks you like to run?

thanks.

i use:

tuneup utilities 2006 - speeding up comp, cleaning stuff (free trial but i bought it)
tweak UI (powertoys) - misc windows stuff (free from MS)
rivatuner - video card stuff (free)

the only thin i really need is tweakUI
I also use resource hacker to modify specific things (i.e. remove the thing from the logon screen that tells you how to make a new user

agreed.. It has everything... I've used it since version 1.XX.. Better and beter everytime, and 64bit compatable.

I like using regedit for certain mods. I don't use any one unified tweaking suite. aTuner is sweet for video card stuff. TweakUI can customize every aspect of the shell that you can think of. CCleaner to clean out stupid useless/worthless Crap(tm), and its "Issues" function is good for fixing Windows things.

Another vote for tunexp. As a matter of fact I just reformatted not to long ago and forgot to install it. Thanks for reminding me.
